Students Screen
The Students Screen is where you manage student administrative
information, such as name, email address, contact information and
parent contact information.

Teachers Screen
The Teachers Screen is where you manage teacher administrative
information, such as name, email address, and contact information.
The teacher screen makes it easy to find any teacher quickly, and
select which classes the teacher is teaching.

Classes Screen
The Classes Screen is used to define the classes and sections that
are being taught in a particular term. Use this screen to define
class name, term, location, meeting time (or period) and meeting
days (dates).
This screen is also used to manage enrollment: easily select which
students should be enrolled in a particular class, and assign a
teacher to teach the class.

Attendance Screen
Use the Attendance Screen to manage attendance for your entire
school or district. After teachers have uploaded attendance
information to the Gradebook Server, and you have synchronized
ThinkWave Administrator with the Gradebook Server, you can view all
this data at a glance. Select any student, and view his or her
attendance record; sort attendance by period, by class, or by
status.

Results Screen
Use the Results Screen to manage final grades for your entire school
or district. After teachers have uploaded grade information to the
Gradebook Server, and you have synchronized ThinkWave Administrator
with the Gradebook Server, you can view all this data at a glance.
Select any student, and view his or her grades; sort grades by
period, by class, or by status.

Reports Screen
Use the Reports Screen to print paper copies of important
information, such as student summary reports, attendance reports,
progress reports and report cards. Or create custom reports using
Crystal Reports Designer.

Web Screen - Gradebook Server
Use this screen to create gradebooks for teachers, keep teachers'
gradebooks up to date, and retrieve information posted by teachers.
At the start of the term, this screen automatically creates teacher
gradebook files, and loads them to Gradebook Server. As the term
progresses, this screen automatically keeps the gradebook update -
for example, if a student is transferred into a teacher's class -
the change is automatically made after synchronization. Finally, use
this screen to see which teachers have uploaded date: so at each
period, you can see when attendance records are up-to-date.

Web Screen - Grades Online!
Use this screen to create Start Keys for all the students and
parents in your school to view classroom information for all
teachers using one simple login. If a student's teachers change -
then the web account is instantly up to date.

Grades Online! Parent and Student View
Now that you've published to ThinkWave.com and given your parents
and students start keys and passwords, they begin seeing their
grades and attendance online.
Once they have created a ThinkWave ID and entered their start key
and password to link to your gradebook, your students and parents
will see a screen similar to the
one displayed here.
For each class, they can see attendance records, a list of the
assignments, handouts for the assignments, the grade, and additional
comments on the assignments. |
