I want to recommend ThinkWave Educator with Grades Online to you. It is a wonderful way for teachers to communicate with students and parents. Simple. Teachers maintain their electronic gradebook using ThinkWave Educator gradebook software. The gradebook has a button labeled "Publish". When a teacher clicks the button, a carbon copy of classroom information is automatically loaded to Grades Online. Students and parents have personal, secure accounts they use to login at any time to check their own grades, attendance, and upcoming assignments. Everyone is in the loop. Free.
