Before working with ThinkWave Administrator, you must install the program onto your computer. Installation is performed using an installer application. To launch the installer:
Click Next to continue installing, or Cancel to quit installing.


In this screen, you can select the location to install ThinkWave Administrator files. The default location is c:\Program Files\Thinkwave\Thinkwave Administrator.

You can use Browse to select a new folder to install ThinkWave Administrator files.
Note: In the installation process, some third-party components, including MSDE (Microsoft SQL Desktop Engine) are installed onto your C drive, even if you choose a different drive using this screen. If you want MSDE to reside on a different drive, cancel installation of Administrator; download MSDE from Microsofts website; install MSDE according to your preferences; restart the computer; and launch Administrator installer once again.

Click Finish to complete the Installation.
It is necessary to restart your computer after installing Administrator the first time. If you are upgrading from a previous version of Administrator it is possible that a restart is unnecessary.

| ThinkWave Administrator Installer installs 3rd party components using default runtime installers in addition to Administrator application files. These include XML components and MSDE. Therefore, even if you have chosen to install Administrator onto a drive other than your C drive, you still need enough room on your C drive for these components to install. | You can manually install MSDE or Microsoft SQL onto your computer in advance of installing ThinkWave Administrator. This way, you can define which drive the database components install to. Check the Microsoft Web site for MSDE downloading instructions, or for MS SQL licensing terms. | |
