Home Screen
This is the first screen you see when you start the program. Note
the tabs along the top, and menu items to the left, that enable you
to navigate through the program to different screens. From this
page, you can see today's classes, assignments due today, and
assignments in progress.

Classes Screen
Now you can begin setting up your classes by entering the class
name, term, meeting time and location, and grade type.

Assignments Screen
Using the Assignments screen, you can enter the assignments,
quizzes, and tests that you have given or plan to give to your
students. Click on the Student Grades tab to enter the grade that
each student received. You can also choose to enter grade results in
the Grid view, which resembles your paper gradebook.

Results Screen
You can adjust the final grade in the Class Results screen.

Web Screen
Once you have created your classes, assignments, and recorded
results - the information is available for your parents and students
on ThinkWave.com! ThinkWave automatically creates individual
accounts for each student and their parents. Print out the start key
and password information by clicking on the Student and Parent tabs

Parent and Student View
Now that you've given your parents and students start keys and
passwords, they begin seeing their grades and attendance online.
Once they have created a ThinkWave ID and entered their start key
and password to link to your gradebook, your students and parents
will see a screen similar to the
one displayed here.
For each class, they can see attendance records, a list of the
assignments, handouts for the assignments, the grade, and additional
comments on the assignments. They can communicate with the teacher
by pressing the Contact Teacher button. |
