Quiz 5

from:Stevenson, Jessica

to:1303 Antepartum - Sum15

Dont forget to complete your take-home Quiz 5 and bring to class tomorrow!

Quiz 5 material

from:Stevenson, Jessica

to:1303 Antepartum - Sum15

Read and take thorough notes on:

Varney: Ch. 21(640-650), 23(756-763)
Jordan: Ch. 9, 10

It was apparent that many of you were not able to recall Bowlby, Ainsworth, Kennel and Klaus, Brazelton, Rubin, Lederman attachment theories. Reread this maternal, take notes, expect another quiz question!  Know them:) as they are foundational material for what we do as midwives.

Excellent job on midwife roleplay for discomforts! It was a pleasure and inspiring  to see you in midwife-seat. Obviously, we will not lecture on all of the discomforts.  I will send you a short list of the ones you will need to learn about on your own such a carpal tunnel, urinary frequency, supine hypotension, etc... when reading about them imagine how you would manuever through them with a client, future midwives!  We will finish the remaining 4 and then go into straigh-up lecture for Fetal assessment/health.
