On the 225th anniversary of the approval of the Constitution by the Second Continental Congress, we are embarking on a journey through the Constitution. Students will be starting out with the Preamble. Students will be writing down the Preamble, and we will be going over it on Tuesday. We will talk about each aspect of it, and discuss how the Constitution specifically meet the intentions stated in the Preamble. Students will then be asked to memorize and recite the Preamble by Friday.
Homework: (Due Tuesday morning). Students will write down the words to the Preamble to the Constitution and be prepared to discuss its meaning.
