Students on working on trying to differentiate between our federal and state governments. Students were collaborating on a teacher-initiated presentation that should more clearly communicate the differences between the two governments. We will wrap up the unit on Government by the end of the week with a brief, open-note quiz. Of course, the unit coincided with the national election. We will revisit Nevada Government when the state legislature begins its session in February.
There will be no homework this week since students are off this Monday; however, parents should look for homework to resume next Monday, November 19. As usual, that will be sent out in an e-mail.
If you have any questions concerning the content or delivering of the Nevada History lessons, please feel free to drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, I want to invite you to take a look at our updated bulletin boards in which work from the Nevada History class is displayed. Of course, you are always welcome to stop by and visit.
