Welcome New Horizons Center for Learning

Early Administrations

TimeNov. 26, 2012

from:Bidell, Barbara

to:US History

This week, students will be looking at the John Adams and Thomas Jefferson presidential administrations. Students will be examining the successes and failures of both administrations and how the personalities of these two men influences their political philosophies and their ultimate successes as failures as chief executive of the country.

At the end of this week, students should be able to identify three key aspects of the Adams and Jefferson administrations and how those shaped American History.

For homework this Monday students will be answering the following question: How did the personal philosophies of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson influence their political philosophies? We will be discussing this very questions on Monday and students will be taking notes. For homework, students should just have to put what we have discussed in their own words.

Once again, if you have any questions about service, delivery, or anything else regarding the U.S. History class, please feel free to e-mail me at bidellb@nhalv.org.
