Students will continue presenting their oral reports on the early President of their choice. We are moving through the early history of the United States through the eyes of the country's early leaders of the Executive Branch. Once the presentations are complete, we will be moving onto a unit associated with the Civil War and the Reconstruction. If your son or daughter has not completed an oral and written first person account of a President, he or she should be doing so no later than Wednesday of this week.
Homework will be associated with the presentations. Students will be researching a President other than their President of study. They will be listing three accomplishments of his presidency. They can either get that information from listening to a fellow student's presentation, or they can research it on the internet or from a book.
