Students are headed to the House Floor this week as they continue their work in E-Congress. Students will be voting on other students' bills from around the country and deciding if they should become law, if only theorectically.
So far in the unit, students have written their own bills, reviewed the bills of others in the committee phase, amended their bills, and now they are voting in the final phase of E-Congress.
For homework this week, students will be reviewing bills in E-Congress. They will have to log on to their E-Congress page (www.youthleadership.net) and sign in the way they do in class. Students will be getting a review worksheet for the bill they will be evaluating. Students need to make sure they are not signing in on the teacher's log in.
As usual, if you have any questions regarding the assignments or the homework, please feel free to drop me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
