Wrapping up E-Congress; Embarking on the Judicial Branch

Students will be wrapping up their until on E-Congress and the Legislative Branch. Students have been voting on bills written by students from around the country. Throughout this unit students learned the make-up of a bill, how to research and write their own bills, how to analyze a bill, and entire entire process of how a bill becomes a law. Once students are finished voting on each of the bills that have made it to the E-House floor, they will start on their unit on the Judicial Branch. Students will be creating a project on each of the current nine justices and a few will be researching justices who have broken gender and racial barriers on the high court.
For homework tonight, students will be addressing the following about the Supreme Court of the United States.
1) Name the justices on the United States Supreme Court.
2) After each justice's name, list the Preisdent who appointed him or her.
