to:Am. Government

This week, students will embark on a unit on International Government. We will be discussing the United Nations, the International Tribunal in the Hague, Netherlands, and various governments around the world. Students will be creating a project on a government on a country of their choice. Students should be completed with the project by the end of the week. Students should be able to find a rubric in their drives that they can access at home, if needed.

For homework this week, students will be answering the following questions.

1) What is the United Nations?

2) How many countries are members of the United Nations?

3) What is the United Nations Security Council?

4) Which countries have veto power on the UN Security Council?

Once again, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at bidellb@nhalv.org.
