Korean War Play and U.S. History Through the Eighties
TimeMay 27, 2013
We have a lot packed into the last few days of school. Monday morning, all parents are invited to our Memorial Day Tribute. As part of that tribute, students in the U.S. History class are putting on the short play entitled The Korean Conflict, written by NHCL senior Austin Roberts. I will be sending out an e-mail reminding students that they should review their lines Monday since the performance is first period on Tuesday.
For the rest of the week, students will be moving through the 20th Century. We will be starting out by rocking to Billy Joe's "We Didn't Start the Fire." Students will then break into groups and go through each of the events and historical figures mentioned in the song. On Friday, students will be presenting what they have learned.
There will be no homework this week because Monday is a holiday.
As usual, if you have any questions regarding the upcoming week, please feel free to drop me a line at email@example.com.
