Hello and welcome to the final Nevada History blog for the 2012-2013 school year. It has been such a pleasure working with these students this year. I have been amazed at their effort and the work they were able to produce. I hope each student enjoyed the year as much as I enjoyed watching them develop socially and academically.
I appreciate the parents' interest and participation this year. I thank you for helping out with field trips and your attendance at our play The History of Las Vegas. I'm sure your son or daughter also appreciated your help with the weekly homework this year. This class had the highest percentage of completed homework!
Grades are in and report cards should be coming out soon after school is out. Students will not be attending Nevada History class this week. We have made it through the entire curriculum thanks to their diligence.
Monday, students will be participating in the Grill and Chill fundraiser benefiting Sport-Social. Tuesday, students will be having fun at Field Day in the morning and will be treated to a live play written and directed by NHCL graduate Austin Roberts. Wednesday, students will be receiving their yearbooks and exchanging signatures.
As usual, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to drop me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise. have a great summer break!
