There is no rest for the weary yet in American Government. Students are finishing up their U.S. Citizenship test on Monday. The test is the same one that the U.S. Government gives to those who desire to become citizens. I believe it is extremely important that students no only pass the test, but pass it with flying colors. I have every confidence that all students who complete the American Government course can do so.
The U.S. Citizenship Test is a final of sorts, although it won't be weighed as such. It should be completed Monday, which is our last day of academics. Field Day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4. Wednesday, students will be spending the morning signing yearbooks.
Grades should be in no later than Wednesday afternoon. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It has been a pleasure teaching this group of students. I think most really understand the importance of citizenship, its responsibilities and its privileges. I have the utmost confidence that they will not take that citizenship for granted, but will diligently defend and preserve the rights associated with that citizenship.
