### WEEK 5: (September 25-27th) animals (Upper Primary)

- martes - Tuesday: Students have to turn in their homework, “2. Los animales.”

Then, the class will begin to practice “partner-conversation 4a. ¡En la granja! (At the farm)”. Students have to practice with five different classmates (I will use the projector).

After practicing partner-conversation, the class will play the game, “Los Conejos – rabbits.”

TAREA: Students have to find the specific animals in the word puzzle. I will hand out this assignment during class. This is due tomorrow.

Miércoles-Wednesday—Students have to turn in their homework.

Then, the class will practice “partner-conversation 4b. ¿Cuántos…? (How many…?). Students have to tell how many animals there are. Students have to practice with five different classmates (I will use the projector).

Then by using my macaw stuffed animal, the class will start their Río’s Mini-Cuento – Short-Story. The class will read this in class, BUT THE QUESTIONS ARE NOT HOMEWORK!

- TAREA: Students have to start studying how to spell the animals and students have to do the assignment called, “¿Cuántos…? (How many…?) Students have to write the specific Spanish number on the line. This is due tomorrow.

- jueves – Thursday --- The class will continue to work in their Río’s Mini-Cuento – Short-Story (I will help my students to answer their comprehension questions).

Then, the class will practice “partner-conversation 4c. En el zoológico (At the zoo). Students have to tell how many animals there are at the zoo. Students have to practice with five different classmates (I will use the projector).

* If the class has time, we will play the game called, “Gestos.”

TAREA: Students must complete the assignment called, “¡En el zoológico! (At the zoo!) Students have to fill in the blank with the right Spanish animal. This is due on Tuesday.
