The Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill recently received a grant from the Department of Education to establish the Center on Secondary Education for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The center will be hosting several focus groups to understand the needs of family members and educators supporting adolescents with ASD and individuals on the autism spectrum.
Focus groups will be held in late October in Chapel Hill and Greensboro. Groups will be 90 minutes and attendees will be paid $40 (by check via mail after focus group completion). Can you join us for one of the following groups?
• district/high school administrators
• high school teachers and related service providers (both general education and special education)
• family members of adolescents or young adults with ASD
• young adults on the autism spectrum (age 18+)
