Dear Parents,

Today we administered our first test of the semester. I've graded the test papers and results are available on Thinkwave for your viewing. Class average is 92.5%. There was a 10 point bonus question on the test. That's why some students received grades higher than 100%.

We've also did first Kahoot of the semester as a preparation for the test. Students seemed to enjoy it. So, we'll likely do it again in the near future. Winners for today's Kahoot were: (1)Nameer (2)Hania (3)Adeel and Arsalan. These students received bonus points for their test scores in the amount of 5, 4, and 3 (based on their rankings).

At the end of the class we started covering "Details of Salah" from Salah book (pages 18-19).

Homework for Oct 29th: Read pages 18 and 19 of the salah book and learn kinds of salah and essentials of salah. A copy of these pages are attched to this udpate in case you don't have the book.

Assalamu Alaikum: Today I listened to students recite verses 1-19 of Surah Al-Alaq for the second round of homework 4. Most did better thanl last time although only a few got the perfect score. I adjusted the grades for previous HWs based on their performance today, and most should benefit from it (inshallah).

We will have Test 1 (reciting complete Surah Al-Alaq) next week on October 29; please encourage your children to continue practicing the memorization so they do good in the test (inshallah).
