Assalam u alaikum!

Dear parents,

This Sunday in class in  Salah we did the all steps of 2 rakahs Salah.

In Islamic studies we read Chapter 10 Jinn and did the questions and answers at the end of the chapter.

Homework:

Memorize duaa after Durud on page 30

Assalamualaikum,

In class on December 8th, students practiced ayas 3-6 in the Surah Ash-Sharh Study Guide (linked to this message). Make sure they bring the study guide to class each week so they can follow along and fill in the blanks as we go over the ayas in class. They also practiced Lesson 9 in the Noorani Qa'idah book.

I gave students the Surah Ash-Sharh Week 2 Homework, which I will link to this message. Students that have not turned in Surah Ash-Sharh Week 1 or Surah At-Teen Week 1 or Week 2 Homeworks (from previous weeks) should do so as soon as possible. For these assignments, students should either listen to or say the surah twice a day every day this week, and a parent/guardian signature is needed for each day that they do this so they can receive credit.

The homework is to complete the Surah Ash-Sharh Week 2 Homework, practice the memorization and meanings of the first 6 ayas of Surah Ash-Sharh, and practice Lesson 9 in Noorani Qa'idah book. Lesson 9 combines all the concepts that students learned about in previous lessons, so it is very important that students first work to master the concepts in previous lessons so that they will be able to correctly read lesson 9.

Next class, we will review the last two ayas in Surah Ash-Sharh and continue practicing Lesson 9 in the Noorani Qa'idah book Inshallah.

If students do not have either the "A Student's First Guide to Juz'Amma" book or the Noorani Qa'idah "Master Reading the Quran" book, please let the office know so that the student can get these books and be prepared for class.

Please feel free to email me (noorb2025@gmail.com) if you have trouble accessing any of the documents linked to my messages or if you have any questions!

Just a quick reminder that your outline for the Manners in Islam essay is due this Sunday. It should include: An introduction - at least two supporting paragraphs - a conclusion

Make sure your outline covers the main points you want to talk about. The student with the best essay will be exempt from Presentation 3 next quarter! The final essay is due January 12th.
