we quickly touched base on the meaning of those, they each chose a surah to write a short report on its meaningfor next weeks class. Winner of each surah will get a freebie pass on homework for one of the weeks.

Page: 5, 6, 7 it's a review of the Alphabet and how they look in the beginning, middle, and end of the words

Assalamu Alaikum parents. My name is Nusrah Hussain. I will be teaching your kids this year InshaAllah. 

For this class, we will InshaAllah start with revisions of all the surahs they have memorized so far at Sunday School, alhamdulillah. InshaAllah , I will then go over tafseer of each surah. I will also have questions from each surah for them to answer.

We have so far gone through the Tafseer of surah An-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas. Next class we will quickly review the questions and move to the next surahs InshaAllah . Please tell your kids to practice the answers. 

We are also reviewing Ayatul Kursi. Please check with your kids. Some students need help.

In class on May 14th, I tested the students on the memorization of Ayat Al-Kursi and allowed them to do the extra credit opportunities (testing on the meaning of Ayat Al-Kursi and reading words from Lesson 9 in the Noorani Qa'idah "Master Reading the Quran" book). 

We do not have enough time to go in-depth on Surah al-A'la on pages 65-67 of the "A Student's First Guide to Juz'Amma" book, but I have linked a study guide for Surah al-A'la including the ayas and their translations and the context of the surah to this message. Please encourage the students to check this document and the pages in the book, read them, and practice the ayas and their translations so that they can become comfortable with this surah.

Graduation is next week; we made it! Congratulations to everyone! I am very proud of all of the students and have loved spending this year teaching them.

Dear parents

Today was the last day of our Sunday school I can not believe it .I worked with the students for the 2 classes mine and the islamic studies as each of them was 30 m today to complete our work finish revise as usual and make a fun activity with my sons and daughters.

In Quran:

we revise surat Alkaferon.

QN:

finished lesson 6.Try to keep the book clean and tidy for next year instead of buying a new one.This book also students will use it fot so many years in sha Allah.

In Arabic: 

we finished the matching papers in the end of the book.I brought in some Playdough for the students to fil the shape of Arabic letters and color.So they learn and memorize the shape of it with an example of a picture that represent an Arabic word.We also sing our Arabic letters song.

See you next Sunday in sha Allah will be the graduation party.Enjoy summer vacation do not forget to encourage your kids revise Quran listen to the reciter that you prefer and mentain salat Al gamaaa at home everyday and at masjed with your kids.

Hope to see you all next year in the new class in sha Allah I really will miss my kids.

Assalamualaikum,

In class on May 7th, we finished reviewing Ayat Al-Kursi. I linked the study guide that includes Ayat al-Kursi and the importance and translations of Ayat al-Kursi. Next class, on May 14th, is the TEST on the memorization of Ayat al-Kursi. The meaning part of the test will be optional this time, for extra credit. The memorization part, however, is a test like usual. I will link the study guide to this message. I am also offering another extra credit opportunity: students that can correctly read randomly chosen words from Lesson 9 in the Noorani Qa'idah "Master Reading the Quran" book will receive extra credit. 

We will not have enough time to go in-depth on Surah al-A'la on pages 65-67 of the "A Student's First Guide to Juz'Amma" book, but I will give the students a study guide for Surah al-A'la including the ayas and their translations and the context of the surah next class. I will give the study guide to all the students, so please encourage them to read it and practice the ayas and their translations so that they can become comfortable with this surah.

If not done yet, please complete the Surah Ad-Dhuha Weeks 1 and 2 and Surah Ash-Sharh Week 1 worksheets as soon as possible; I linked the worksheets to previous messages.

Students who have not yet completed the Surah Ad-Dhuha test or Surah At-Teen test or Lessons 1-5 test must do them as soon as possible!
