Assalamualaikum,

Ramadan Kareem to all parents and students! In class on March 19th, I gave the students time to decorate our class door for the door-decorating contest. We then practiced the LAST THREE ayas (9-11) of Surah Ad-Dhuha on pages 96-97 of the "A Student's First Guide to Juz'Amma" book. I linked a study guide to this message with the translations of ALL ayas in case some students were absent or forgot to take notes during previous classes. To make sure the students are not overwhelmed, please encourage them to focus on memorizing the surah and the meanings of the ayas.

I decided to delay the Surah Ad-Dhuha test, so here is the new plan: Next class, March 26th, we will have a review day for all ayas of Surah Ad-Dhuha. Then, the class after, on April 2nd, will be the TEST for the memorization AND meaning of Surah Ad-Dhuha. Please start preparing now (the study guide is very helpful) to keep your child on track.

Missing work:

If not done yet, please complete the Surah Ad-Dhuha Weeks 1 and 2 and Surah Ash-Sharh Week 1 worksheets as soon as possible; I linked the worksheets to previous messages.

Students that have not yet completed the Surah At-Teen test or Lessons 1-5 test must do them as soon as possible!

Assalamu Alaikum,

Alhamdulillah, we had a great day. We decorated our class room door. Our theme was Ramadan, and we won third place! Thank you kids for doing a great job! I am so proud of you all. May Allah make you all wonderful muslims. Ameen.

Inshallah, next class we will start memorizing Dua Qunoot (recited in Witr prayer). There are two different duas. Please let me know which one you want your kid to memorize.
