My Name is Hashna Dheen and I've been teaching this class for approximately 5 years now. Welcome back to sunday school Alhamdulillah we had a great first day in class. 

After introductions kids filled out an ALL ABOUT ME paper. I asked them to color it at home so that we can pin it in the class for everyone to see and learn about each other. 

The lesson was UNIT A CHAPTER 1 I Obey Allah, HW is page 7 in their workbook.

Welcome back to the sunday school,my name is Faryal jamal and i m level 2 QURAN teacher ALHADULILALLAH.In class,after introduction we did practice surah QURAISH,we learned introduction and translation of surah quraish,in noorani qaida we coverd lesson #7 and from arabic for beginners we did practice lesson#1 ARABIC ALPHABETS and memorize two islamic months name MUHARRAM and SAFFAR.

FOR HOMEWORK,

Memorize ayyah#1 and 2 of surah QURAISH page# 206 from juz amma.Practice page#13 line# 4-8 from noorani qaida.Practice pg# 1 from Arabic for beginners and memorize two islamic months name MUHARRAM and SAFFAR.

Note:students will bring one note book and pencil in the class.

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome all of you. Since it was the first day of Sunday School, I read Surah Al-Fatiha and explained the meaning of why we read Fatiha as an opener. Then introduced myself and each student did the same. I also explained how to use our book and they colored a masjid picture. We played two different games as well. My lesson plan is on our website. I will start with the letter Alif first and the memorization of Surah Al- Fatiha inshaAllah.

My name is Sami Iren. I'm the 6th grade Islamic Studies teacher for your child. Today, we introduced ourselves to the class, discussed our expectations from the class and talked about our Muslim Identities and what it means to be a Muslim in a non-muslim country. Next week, we are going to start with the first lesson from our book, titled "Tawheed".

Homework for Sep 15th: Read Unit A, Chapter 1 (pages A2-A11) from the textbook and do Exercises 1-3 from the Worksheets book (pages 4-5).

Dear Parents, Assalamu alaikum. My name is Sidra Ali and I am the Level 1 Islamic studies teacher. We started our class with introductions. We also covered Unit 1, Chapter 1 from the book. We talked how everything around us is created by Allah (SWT). Each week we will cover a chapter from the book in the first half of the class. In the second half we will cover Salah. We will start memorizing the Salah in a few weeks InshaAllah. This week we worked on memorizing the five daily prayers names. Homework: Students have to cover Chapter 1 pages 4, 5 and 6 from the workbook. Students also have to memorize the five daily prayers names. Parents are requested to help their kids with them. Also please remind your kids to bring both their Islamic studies books and a pencil with them every week. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Any feedback is also welcome. Dear Parents,

Today, we did a final review of salah related subjects. Then we administered the optional (oral) test for those students who wanted to raise their scores from test 1. Finally, we practiced our skit.

Students performed their skit in the assembly today. Alhamdulillah they did a wonderful job. The skit has been both educational and fun. 

Homework: Since it is the last week of the school, no homework.

This week we covered our last letter yaa and finished the Alif BaTa book alhamdulillah. Also, I did the last test for Surah An-Nas as well. I wish I didn't have to say this, but a couple of students still need help. Please spend some time with your kids on memorizing this surah because next week is the last week for final grades.
