      This Sunday we covered Unit B, Chapter 3, The story of Prophet Nuh. We revised the dua from last Sunday. Naeema shared a Hadeeth this week about Kindness. 
 

Homework:

We will have our first test on 10/18/2020. The test will be from Unit A, Chapter 1 and Chapter 4. Please read the chapters thoroughly. The test will be from the basic concepts we learnt in the chapter, some Arabic words meaning that we discussed in class. Also the test might include Allah's name's meanings that are mentioned in the chapter. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

I hope you are all doing well.

For Quran:

We finished sura AlFateha and covered sura AlEkhlas.Masha Allah kids know them. Keep practice and memorize them.Next time if students ready I will make a small test for one sura.

For Arabic:

We covered letters ج ح خ the three belly sisters.Homework is to write some lines of these pages and to colour if you want.Practice writing Arabic letters is a step forward to learn.We do not want the level to be behind.

If you can play with your kid by finding an Arabic word begin with our letters.This will be our game the whole year in sha Allah.

For Qawed Norania:

We finished lesson one. Review with your kid by reading from up to down not by lines.

Asslam alycom wa rahmato Allah wa barakato parents I hope everything is going easily.

For Quran:

Today we finished Alfatiha next time I hope everyone could recite it.So try to keep practice and review everyday for just 10 m.We also begin sura Alekhkas.

The reward of reading this sura 3 times equal the reward of reading the whole quran.

For Arabic:

We read and review the first 4 letters which is أ ب ت ث with a word for every letter.There is no homework today so if there is any missing homework you can do it untill page ث.

Prepa one  word for the 4 letters for next time we will play.

For Qawaed Norania practice readind lesson 1 from up to down not by lines.

This week we had a quiz on Surat Alfatiha. We did review activities because some students didn't study the meanings hard enough. I am posting an extra credit video on the Tafseer of Alfatiha in depth. Students will be quizzed on the content of this video. The top place will get 30 extra points on classdojo, second place will get 20, third place will get 10. I am also attaching a link for Surat Annas in Arabic and in English so that the students can prepare for the next class insha'Allah.

Assalamu Alaikum,

       This Sunday we covered Unit B, Chapter 2, Prophets and Messengers. We had a detailed discussion on what is the difference between a Prophet and a Messenger. At the end of the class we had a pop quiz and the students did a great job. For next week Naeema will be sharing the Hadith. The dua of the week is attached please go over it and try to memorize it. We will have our first test on October 18, and it will be from Unit A Chapter 1 and Chapter 4. 

HOMEWORK:

1. Briefly explain the difference between a Prophet and a Messenger. 

2. Did all Messengers receive Books from Allah? If not how many received Books and what are their names?

3. How many Prophets are mentioned in the Quran? Are they all Messengers as well?
