We covered the Chapter on Al-Khushoo in the class on Sunday and discussed applying Al-Khushoo to our Salat. Students were also informed about test on 3/1/2020. The test would have four questions with short answers expected. 

Preparation for the test:

Students need to read following three chapters.

Unit D, Chapter 1: Al-Khshoo: The Heart of Worship

Unit D, Chapter 6: Appreciating Allah's Gifts

Unit D: Chapter 7: Sujood-ush-Shukr

There is no need to memorize anything as the questions would be based on understanding the concepts.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Today for Quran we cover surat Annaser as a whole.We repeated so many times help your child to memorize. In Qawed Norania we had lesson 5.Just 6 lines from line no 3 -8 read to your child.We revise reading lesson 3 and lesson 4.For lesson 4 break the order in reading let your child read from up to down. In Arabic the students have a new sheets.Try to collect them in a folder or a sleeve and bring it every time.The sheets have for every letter 3 pages.One for just color and read the two examles of a letter.The second page is the shape of the letter in the beginning in the middle and in the end if a word with examles and this is the class work .The third page has the 3 haraka for each letter and this is the homework. Homework is letters thaa geem haa with the 3 haraka which is fatha damma and kasra just 2 times for each. Next 2 weeks will be mid semester test.Next week 1st Mar will begin Arabic letters writing test and lesson 3 and 4 Qawad Norania.Then 8th Mar will be Quran test surat Annaser and Attashahud.Study hard and I wish success for my all sons and daughters.

Dear Parents,

Today we covered Salat-ud-Duha (Unit D, Chapter 3). In the process, we reviewed salah times based on the position of sun. We also started talking about conditions and etiquettes of praying in jama'ah. We'll continue this subject next week. 

This semester we will have one test and one project. Therefore, we will not have a test next week per our lesson plan. The test will be scheduled for late March or early April. Therefore, in this report card period students will not have a test grade.

I handed out the term project guidelines today. It is also attached to this announcement. Students are expected to partner with a friend in the class. The deadlines and expectations are defined in the handout. Please ensure your student starts working on this right away.
