Students also attended the Muslim 360 Program for the last 20-25 minute of the class.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته This week we revise Tashahud and lesson 3 Qaida Norania.We finished the tests also.Some students were absent I hope they are very well.Not all the students give the Arabic project,that was about to choose 5 Arabic letters and give 2 words as examples begin with for each letter.This is important for learning Arabic language.Still we will need to discuss it in class.So try to do it if you do not and bring it next time.Arabic homework is letter kaf.

Assalam alikm, In Class,we read the story about Surah AT-TAKATHUR from juz amma and write the words and meanings of Surah AT TAKATHUR in note book.we had test of Islamic months names (MashaALLAH kids did good job).we also learn that when and how to say ASTAGFIRULLAH,ALHAMDULILALLAH,ALLAH U ALBAR AND SUBHAN ALLAH with meanings.(please practice them at home) For home work;memorize 4 ayaah of Surah AT TAKATHUR .

Dear Parents,

Today we covered Unit C, Chapter 1 (Salman Al Farisi). We also started talking about the differences between praying a 4 raq'a fard, strong sunnah, and weak sunnah prayer. See the related homework below.

There were a few students who missed the test last week due to their travels. Those students will take the test next week. Until they take the test, their report cards will show a missing grade and their final grade will be affected by this. Once they take the test, final grades will be re-calculated. 

Homework for Jan 19th: Fill in the attached worksheet showing the steps for praying a 4 raq'a fard prayer, strong sunnah prayer and weak sunnah prayer. The first two raqas of a fard prayer has already been filled for you as an example. As a guideline you can watch the videos from the following web site:

For the fard prayer: pick any 4 raq'a fard prayer (e.g., dhur, asr, isha)

For the strong sunnah prayer: pick first sunnah of dhur prayer

       This Sunday we had a shorter class as the kids had Muslim 360 at the end of class. The virtue of the month is Responsibility.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته I hope every one enjoyed the break.Today we were supposed to finish our three items of exam, which are Quran, Arabic letters , Qaida Norania.I gave chances for many students to retake their exam.Next time will be the last one and it will be a chance for even the absent students.Although we cover lesson 3 qaida norania I revise lesson 2 untill today for 8 times.So read with your child daily.For Arabic letters practice make sure they write it from right to left.I check the books and homework.We will talk about our Arabic project next time.I hope every student finish it and bring it to show and tell the class.Last time for the project also next time as it is the end of semester.If any student need help or more explanation I will be in the prayer hall next Sunday ISA at 10 am.Wishind success for all my students.

Assalam alikm, In class,we started new Surah Surah AT-TAKATHUR WE RECITED many times and cover introduction and translations.we repeated all Islamic months names,from ARABIC FOR BEGINNERS we cover lesson SUKOON from page number 25,26 and 27.we also learn that if any of our friend or any other person sneezing then we need to say YA -ArhamukaALLAH(practice at home). Today we administered the second test of the semester. We played a Kahoot game before the test and the following students earned extra credits towards their test scores:

We also covered Prophet Hud from out textbook. Next week is the last class of the semester. If your student missed today's test, please make sure he/she attends the school next week to take the test. Otherwise, the test grade on his/her semester report card will show a zero.

Assalamu alaikum,

       This Sunday we had the test. One student came up with a great idea and brought a Sadaqah jar for the entire class. All the kids were very excited to get it and it can be very useful in helping kids understand the concept of charity. 

       Some kids still need to work on Takbeer and Thana and starting Salah (that was the part from Salah in our test). There is no homework this week and students just need to memorize them and they will get a chance to improve their scores in Salah. Any student who was absent can take the test on 1-12-2020, that is also the last week of this semester. Thank you.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Today we read and repeat together Duaa tashahud after repeating all the previous suras as usual.Students have a written copy in their hands.Try to repeat the tashahud loudly with your child daily after each pray.Still some students need to practice reading lesson 2 quaida norania for the test and last chance will be next time.Next time we will finish lesson 3.It needs practice also.Arabic homework is letter faa.Next time will be Arabic test in all these letters.For the project, choose 5 Arabic letters and give 2 or more example for each on a paper write it or put stickers or drawing.Last day for entering grades for tests homeworks and projects will be 12 Jan.I hope everyone work hard and enjoy the vacation as well.
