Dear parents and students,

Ramadan Mubarak!

This week first 20 minutes they have Taharh class girls and boys separately.

After that in the class we talked about Ramadan and it's importance.

Today all students got My Ramadan checklist please keep it somewhere they can see everyday and check. By the end of Ramadan month they have to bring the checklist back whoever bring it back complete they will get small token.

Next week there will be no Sunday school due to spring back.

On April 24th we'll have test of unit D Prophet Muhammad in Makkah chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3, chapter 4 and chapter 5.

please encourage them to read these chapters couple of times.

    This Sunday we covered Unit E, Chapter 2 Respecting Parents. Most of the students had not completed their homework from the past two weeks. They must complete their homework and email it to me by April 10. 
 

Homework:

1. Write two hadeeths about respecting our parents. 
2. Write the meaning of the last part (which is a dua for our parents) of the Ayah on page E21. Try to memorize it as it is a great dua that we can make for our parents.

This week students learned how to pronounce and write the letters Faa and Qaaf on the whiteboard, the book, and with playdough. They also learned Surah Al Falaq.

There is no school next week.

I have chosen the following students for the surah competition: Ammar Akram, Zaynab Abdurrahman, and Zoeya Ali. Can these students please memorize Surah Al-Fatiha for the competition.

Dear parents

in Quran:

We read and repeated surat Almasad.Insha Allah the Quran competition is coming it will be on the end of April.Next Sunday our school will  be closed.On 17 th April will choose  3 students of each class for this competition.Our suras will be Alfalaq, Annas, and Almassad.See and follow about it on the school page and help your kid to memorize and practice in good recitation.You can use the school audios or any other shaikh like Ayman Sweed.Good luck.

We finished lesson 5.

In Arabic :

homework page no 29& 30 match and no worries we will do it again in the class.Take the opportunity of the vacation and finish any missed homework. 
For Arabic project: some students finish theirs and show it to the class ma sha Allah and I will put grades to them.Still there is some not yet.Once again if you missed about it kids suppose to choose 5 Arabic letters and give a word for each one and use whether  a print a painting or a drawing on any kind any size of paper to show and tell about them.

Homework: 

Write a 100 words essay about what you understand about Respect. Who deserves to be respected? What does Islam teach us about Respect? One reference from Quran and one reference from Hadeeth. In the end summarize by explaining whom do you give respect to in your daily life? Who deserves more respect and why? And how can you improve your behavior by being more respectful.
