Assalamualaikum,

In class on March 16th, students practiced ayas 4-5 in the Surah Ad-Dhuha study guide. I gave the students a Surah Ad-Dhuha Week 1 Worksheet - students can either listen to, read, or recite Surah Ad-Dhuha twice a day and get a signature for each day that they complete this to receive credit.

Students that have not yet completed the Arabic letters packet should finish it as soon as possible. Since it was a short class, we did not practice Arabic and will pick up next class Inshallah. I also gave the students a guide for how to write Arabic letters depending on where the letter is in a word, which will help them as we continue connecting letters to make words in class.

Please feel free to email me (noorb2025@gmail.com) if you have trouble accessing any of the documents linked to my messages or if you have any questions!

Assalamualaikum,

In class on March 2nd, students took the Surah Al-Bayyinah Test. Those who have not taken the test yet should take it this Sunday Inshallah. The test covered everything from the Surah Al-Bayyinah study guide (memorization, meanings of ayas, background of surah) and the Surah Al-Bayyinah vocabulary sheet. The vocabularly section is usually the most missed part of the tests, so don't forget to study that part. I did not test them with reading or connecting arabic letters on this day since many students still need practice on this topic. Study materials are linked to this message.

After the test, students completed the Arabic letters worksheet attached to this message. Since this worksheet was a bit confusing, I will break down the concepts more in this Sunday's lesson Inshallah.

Those who have not yet completed the Surah Al-Bayyinah Week 1 Worksheet should do so as soon as possible. Students can either listen to, read, or recite Surah Al-Bayyinah twice a day and get a signature for each day that they complete this to receive credit.

Our next surah will be Surah Ad-Dhuha Inshallah.

Please feel free to email me (noorb2025@gmail.com) if you have trouble accessing any of the documents linked to my messages or if you have any questions!
