Assalamualaikum,

In class on April 30th, we continued reviewing Ayat Al-Kursi. I linked the study guide that includes Ayat al-Kursi and the importance and translations of Ayat al-Kursi. I will link the study guide to this message. We practiced the memorization and meaning of the first page of Ayat al-Kursi on the study guide. Please review this with your children. We will move forward with the rest of Ayat al-Kursi next class.

Meanwhile, it would be useful to review lessons 8 and 9 in the Noorani Qa'idah "Master Reading the Quran" book, as that is coming soon.

Here is the plan moving forward:

- We are currently reviewing Ayatul Kursi and the important meanings/translations of it. I know some students are already familiar with Ayatul Kursi, but I still want to formally review it with everyone.
- While working on Ayatul Kursi, we will move forward in the Noorani Qa'idah "Master Reading the Quran" book, working on lessons 8 and 9 in class together.
- After Ayatul Kursi, we will not have enough time to go in depth on Surah Al-A’la on pages 65-67 of the "A Student's First Guide to Juz'Amma" book, but I plan to make a study guide with the ayas and their translations to soon give to the students, which we will briefly go over. I will give the study guide to all the students, so please encourage them to read it and practice the ayas and their translations!

Missing work:

If not done yet, please complete the Surah Ad-Dhuha Weeks 1 and 2 and Surah Ash-Sharh Week 1 worksheets as soon as possible; I linked the worksheets to previous messages.

Students that have not yet completed the Surah Ad-Dhuha test or Surah At-Teen test or Lessons 1-5 test must do them as soon as possible!
