last day of school next week in shaa Allah- students wanted a candy party- each student will bring in one kind of candy to share with the class (8 students). It will be the students/ parents responsibility to ensure the candy brought to class follows Halal guidelines and please avoid any companies on the boycott lists. 

Our school play is also next week in shaa Allah, 5/11 during assembly 1:35 pm till 1:50pm. Parents please plan on attending. School will conclude with Dhuhr prayer by 2pm. Looking forward to seeing you all.

And we reviewed the previous Surah they were supposed to memorize this year ( Surah Al Maun, AlFill, ATakaathur ) they have to memorize them so they will be able to move next level In Shaa Allah next year plus  they going to be rewarded on graduation day in front of the school  

So make sure your kid is ready

We continue with Lesson 12 After we reviewed all Harakat and did some exercises on them on the board separately for everyone

We continue with Harakat by trying to let everyone to read the words I wrote for them on the board on pages 49 - 50

In class on April 27th, students participated in or watched the Quran competition, so we did not have our regular class. So, this week's message is the same as last week. The last test will be this Sunday, May 4th InshaAllah. It will cover the memorization, meanings, and vocabulary of Surah Ad-Duha, shaddah, and connecting letters to make words. There will also be an extra credit portion of the test, which will be about the duas and names of Allah that were covered in class.

Students that have not finished the shaddah and connecting letters worksheets from last week should complete them for homework (linked to this message).

Homework: For their final grade they have to make a presentation on the Islamic wars of their choice and present them in the next class May 4th.

Today we started by reviewing some everyday duas and islamic phrases that students are expected to know in this level. 
We also recited Attahiyat together as a class. Most of the students already know it which is great! 
 

Homework: Review Attahiyat and memorize for the students who don't know it yet. Also, memorize dua for traveling.

        This Sunday we covered Chapter 26 Shaitan's Mode of Operation. We had a detailed discussion about how Shaitan whispers to us and makes false promises. Please ask kids what they learnt today. 
        We also had our make up day for the tests. So the kids who had missed their test took their test. Also kids who wanted to retake their test were given an opportunity. 
 

Salah: Students will have their Salah test next week. They should know all the words with actions. From Takbeer till Tasleem.

As we approach the end of the school year, I wanted to share some important upcoming dates for the final few weeks.

On April 27th, the Quran Competition will take place, and Project 4 is due that day, along with spelling homework, which should include a parent signature.

The Food Festival will conclude on May 4th. Any students who haven’t yet participated are welcome to bring something on this day.

On May 11th, there will be both a written test and a recitation for Surah Al-A‘la.

Finally, our graduation ceremony will take place on May 18th. Those who complete their Quran chart will receive a special gift in recognition of their dedication and hard work. <3 -Jumana
