Salam alaykum parents and students.  This week we started the concept of learning the beautiful names and attributes of Allah subhanahu ta'ala. We did class activites of learning each other's names, their spelling and meanings. To know someone, we start with knowing their names, and knowing the meaning help us learn more about that person. Similarly, knowing the Names of Allah and their meaning would enable us to know more about our creator. Next week we'll in sha Allah know the benefits and importance of learning beautiful names and attributes of Allah SWT and introduce few names.

I also wanted to inform you that starting next week, we will separate Level 6 and Level 7 Quran classes to their respective teams as we originally planned. Classes will be held as follows:

  • Level 6 will have Quran in the first period and Islamic Studies in second period.
  • Level 7 will have Islamic Studies in the first Period and Quran in the second period.

In the previous class on 9/19, students were assessed for their quran and surah memorizations from prior year. Based on the assessments and parents feedback, and the ability to break classes in smaller group, I'll be adjusting the curriculum for both Quran level 6 and level 7 and share with students in coming class in sha Allah.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
